I moved to Chile from Uruguay, to continue the consolidation process of the Professional Services unit, focusing on the areas of virtualization, cloud computing and support.Meanwhile, in the Education unit, official training courses are given by more than 1,500 technicians and IT professionals every year at a regional level, throughout Latin America, with a focus on excellence and quality. The excellent results of the team were recognized, and we received the following awards: • VMware VATC of the Year for LATAM – 2018 & 2021 • Veeam Authorized Education Center for Latin America – 2018 & 2019 • Veeam Authorized Education Center for Americas – 2021 • Nutanix Top Performing ATP 2022 AmericasIn addition to the above, a new and exciting challenge came to my hands as director in Adistec: to develop the customer support unit, with the objective of providing technical assistance and incident management, through dedicated technical resources, trilingual support (English, Spanish and Portuguese), 24x7 assistance, and regional coverage for LATAM. This challenge, required reinventing oneself, researching, acquiring knowledge, gaining experience, as well as making mistakes along the way and learning from them.

I took on the challenge of designing a professional services business unit from scratch, covering all Latin America. This implied outlining the strategic objectives, the offer of professional services, as well as both sales and operational procedures.I fulfilled the defined goals such as assembling a team of consultants, developing an ecosystem of partners to complement the technological offer, executing an internal communication plan to publicize the offer, as well as aligning with the main vendors to be a complementary tool for closing business as well as with other business units of the organization.

Within my responsibilities, I contributed to consolidate the education team, designing the processes, generating visibility through reports and defining the KPIs. Additionally, I managed new ATC contracts with vendors and develop an ecosystem of alliances with other training centers in the region to increase the portfolio of training services and trough this, the sales of the business unit.

I participated supporting partners in final accounts such as LATAM, Transbank, Falabella, Telefónica in both pre-sales and consulting areas.During this period, I achieved the Instructor certification for Citrix, Websense and Symantec. Apart from my responsibility as a pre-sales engineer, I also delivered training courses for partners as well as for end customers, both remotely and on-site in LATAM.
