• Research and select foreign language learning textbooks• Authorize the purchase of textbooks as well as other educational materials• Research and design of educational materials and instructional methods• Mentor new teachers• Observe teachers in their classroom and provide them with feedback• Deliver Continuous Professional Development (CPD) workshops and seminars• Coordinate extra-curricular activities such as English immersion days, spelling bee contests, cultural activities, etc.

VenTESOL Third Vice President is responsible for the organization of the subsidiaries of the Association. He or she will organize, keep and lead regional working teams in their local responsibilities. He or she will liase with publishers and similar entities.

• Keep members informed about news, updates, events and academic projects organized or led by the association, and/or organizations related to the English Language Teaching (ELT) area.• Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of all virtual spaces and networks available to keep all members informed and communicated.• Organize, promote and moderate ELT webinars for all VenTESOL members• Plan and manage projects that involve visuals, video, and/or multimedia storytelling to support the association’s work.• Support the implementation of new communication initiatives.
