Guardian Medical Transport (GMT), a division of Flagstaff Medical Center, serves more than 3,300 square miles in Northern Arizona - from Happy Jack to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, our team is dedicated to providing prompt pre-hospital emergency medical services and non-emergent transport 24 hours a day, seven days a week.I am working and providing GIS mapping to support to our department dispatching with CAD and EMS operations with 4 stations plus coordinate and communicate IT projects and services between our department staff and Flagstaff Medical Center's IT department.I have also been on Federal inter-agency Incident Management Teams and assignments since 2010 and particularly with the Southwest Team 4, Type 2 team. My position on the management teams is a GIS Specialist which could be at an assignment for 2 weeks and working 16 hours days at mostly wild land fire incidents. I also am utilizing this experience to be a GIS Analyst resource for Coconino County and the state of Arizona through DEMA's Arizona Qualification System (AQS).

Guardian Air is a division of Flagstaff Medical Center and transports patients and provides specialized, life-saving care for adult, pediatric, maternal and neonatal patients across Northern Arizona. In addition, our medical crews work closely with medical directors from Northern Arizona Healthcare for each medical specialty we fly. I provide mapping for the Computer Aided Dispatch system and supply other custom mapping products. In addition, I assist with the computer support for the seven Bases in Cottonwood, Flagstaff, Kingman, Show Low, Page, Tuba City, and Winslow with their individual computer network and mobile devices.

I manage GIS services for this medium sized consulting firm w/5 offices located in Northern Arizona. SWI provides Civil Engineering services for government and private companies. I coordinate GIS services internally & project work, while consulting GIS projects. Internal work has been to mirror a centralized Geodatabase to the 5 offices containing purchased GIS data from municipal to statewide clearinghouses along with geocoded company projects linked to searchable databases & documents. GIS services have ranged from pre-planning exhibits, 3D Modeling, terrain analysis, & data conversion. GIS projects ranged w/ GIS creation for many organizations including data collection, map composition, training, and geodatabase design and testing. Other experience has been in surveying, topographic mapping, property ownership/ research, location of monuments, post-processing & data reduction w/ survey drafting including beach surveys of the Grand Canyon & earthwork volume calculations.

I was a volunteer that complimented full-time staff in emergency response for the Sedona Fire District in structure fire, wildland fire, and EMS. Attended weekly training and became part of the Special Operations Team in Rope Rescue receiving training from the Arizona State Fire Marshall's classes in Rope Rescue I, II, and III.

I gathered a wide variety of experience dealing with the general public, staff and city council members. Requests for information or data were a large part of the job while administrating the GIS database and providing support for the GIS applications throughout all the departments from regional planning, to asset management, and geographically enabled e911 dispatching software. As an early acceptor of new technology I was able to use mobile GIS mapping, Internet access mapping, and a spatial database engines to enable access of the GIS to the general public and other software programs.

My employment here evolved from a basic GIS technician to the Production Coordinator due to my initiative and the existing coordinator leaving the company. There was intense learning of ESRI software and processes that would be soon applied in many dynamic projects. I made a good partnership with a programmer by providing the user and functionality feedback. Projects ranged from spatial data analysis to GIS layer creation for area governments and companies.
