Managing the end-to-end Transport Procurement agenda inclusive of T1 Payments, T1 Claims and Ad hoc T1 sourcing. Working closely with Internal and External stakeholders I.e BUSA Logistics, Zone Procurement, General Accounting, Regional Finance / BU PPMs and External vendors. Ensuring the successfull management and support of the payment to vendors, recovery of claims and the spot buy sourcing strategy as required by the business.

Support BU South in analysing, reporting and optimising all inventory processes in order to drive improvement on supply chain losses / overheads. Identify and report on anomalies in the supply chain ledgers in order to pre-empt and eradicate the prevalence of inventory write offs. Intermittently oversee stock counts as part of an audit process, to ensure compliance of all inventory governance processes & controls. Ensure that all inventory movements ( FG, Empties & raw Materials) & postings are tracked & monitored in T1, T2 transport & Packaging interface.

Responsible for ensuring that material supply plans are in place, monitored and executed in order to meet production plans with the least total cost of ownership in accordance with supplier capacity and commercial agreements. Maximize raw material availability whilst optimizing stock levels (working capital) and operational logistics costs.o Publish and communicate short term raw material call off schedules to plants and suppliers, adhering to defined safety stock (inventory) standards; o Communicate to the NPD processes any impact of material changes to orders and inventories as well as lead times and minimum order quantities and/or commitments for new materials; o Ensure Purchase Requisitions (PR) and/or Purchase Orders (PO) are generated, approved and placed upon suppliers in line with the material call off schedule and procurement policies; o Follow up on PO’s placed with suppliers and ensure on time in full delivery to brewery based on incoterms defined on PO; o Facilitate weekly inventory reconciliations between open PO’s, system stock and physical stock on hand; o Publish and communicate a medium to long term raw materials forecast to all suppliers at aggregate level; o Calculate and/or review and maintain targeted inventory levels by material element.

o To ensure overall continuity of material supply at all times across the Southern Africa markets for Spirits where Sedibeng and Co-packers are the Supply Sourceso To ensure accurate material stock availability data is visible on a daily basiso Rolling 18 month material plan for all SKUs produced in Sedibeng and Co-packers (Weekly and Monthly buckets)o Monthly S&OP (IBP) Supply Review input for raw material (Sedibeng and co-packers)o Generation of Raw Material stock policy & management of inventory levels in support of agreed inventory targets in conjunction with procurement.o Monitoring performance and identifying and communicating reasons for deviationo Manage for value across the Supply Chain (E.g. minimize write-offs, double handling, etc) o Single point of contact for Procurement and production for raw material planning ensure product continuity.o Monthly KPIs produced and performance.o Successful introduction & availability of new locally produced spirits products / promotions/gifting in support of customer off-take from an Operational Planning point of view (post Gate 3) supplied from Isipingo.o Ensure integration of all innovations/renovation with the normal weekly and monthly planning processes o Coordination with distribution on all functions relating to locally produced spirits e.g. repacking requirements, pallet configuration changes, abnormal primary distribution requirements etc.o Communication to the business regarding current and expected national inventory shortages or risks (e.g. national level aging risks ) o Managing lead times to ingredients supply to accommodate unplanned spikes on demand to production plan.

o Effectively managing the Returnable packs for Brandhouse (i.e. Bottles; Crates and Pallets) to ensure effective days in trade are maintained and that Sedibeng Brewery lines are continuously supplied. Rolling out 18 month 660ml glass plans produced at the Sedibeng Brewery (Weekly and Monthly buckets):o Working with 3PL’s and 4PL’s in ensuring Returnable are returned to breweryo Monitoring available returnable stock levels at all the depots, planning loads to return stock to the brewery for production. o Planning loads for all the returnable packs from depots nationallyo Ensuring adherence to primary distribution load planning and escalating to appropriate parties if loads are not executed.o Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring, reporting and maintaining control of RTIo Enforcing non-compliance from depots with regards to returnable KPI standardso Daily monitoring of returnable stock levels (warehouse capacity planning) at depot levels and customer and replenishment to production site to meet production requirements.
