As an independent consultant, I am currently spearheading the development of a cloud-based VMS system that scales to million+ devices, integrated with advanced Computer Vision and AI technologies. Additionally, I am at the forefront of applying modern LLMs for ICD-10/11 medical coding, effectively managing large-scale patient data and integrating it with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare systems.As the founder of a health-tech AI startup, in addition to the fundamental algorithms and computer vision R&D, I was actively involved in the clinical evaluation of our platform, building collaborations with research hospitals, medical colleges, and government health departments, and navigating the complexities of clinical research. This resulted in a product called CerVIA that may be a boon to women's health.With multiple years of experience delivering high-impact AI and deep learning solutions in surveillance, health diagnostics, and beyond, I am a seasoned distributed systems architect and hands-on programmer with deep expertise in C, C++, Rust, Python, and Java. I continue to code actively, dedicating 30-40 hours each week to mission-critical projects spanning embedded/IoT devices to cloud infrastructure and several different technology stacks, databases, microservices frameworks, event streaming and stream processors, data analytics platforms, including designing a few of our own such analytics platforms.I have worked extensively with decentralized identity frameworks and health data privacy, utilizing techniques like fully homomorphic encryption, zero-knowledge proofs, and secure multi-party computation schemes to explore secure and decentralized computing solutions for the future.My past academic and research experience spans Combinatorial Optimization, Randomized and Approximation Algorithms, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning (Computer Vision, NLP and Recommenders), Topological Data Analysis, Graph Theory, and Stochastic Calculus.As an ongoing personal project for my friends and family, I have also been involved in designing an algorithmic trading platform with a focus on performance optimization and seamless Machine Learning integration.I am a full-time corporate R&D scientist, also consulting part-time to bridge cutting-edge research with real-world applications.
