Chief Procurement Officer, Risk & Insurance
Current- Responsible for developing and maintaining the critical internal relationships necessary to be successful in a large dynamic organization like First National of Nebraska-Responsible for savings opportunity assessment and sourcing strategy development across all major FNNI buying groups (IT, Print/Marketing & Admin Services)-Responsible for spend visibility and relevant diagnostics; translating spend data into actionable sourcing strategies for internal business leaders-Responsible for implementing sourcing related savings opportunities, structuring/negotiating business contracts and managing ongoing vendor performance.-Primary leader in the development of a strategic sourcing practice and methodology throughout FNNI -Self funded and lead multi-million dollar “Procure-to-Pay” project which reengineered the FNNI Purchasing Department and related processes from a transactional team to an efficient value added business partner- Responsible for all non healthcare related Insurance programs, including property/casualty and professional lines, experience working with Tier one brokers and carriers from around the world.- Lead team of 20 contract, sourcing and insurance professionals -Direct spend oversight of $400MM
