Hi there! My name is Mara Bennett. I am a registered nurse originally from southwest Michigan. I went to school in the Chicago suburbs and quickly realized that nursing is an incredible profession with endless opportunities.I worked for about 1 year on a Med/Surg Oncology floor in Aurora, IL and then I began travel nursing. The beautiful cultures I have experienced have opened my eyes to the differences, similarities, and overall stunning beauty that the human race embodies. My favorite part about the nursing profession is patient care. I value working as a team to provide the best care possible for every individual. My second favorite part is the opportunity to be a life long learner. The medical field is constantly evolving and I adore all opportunities to absorb, learn, grow, and improve. My biggest strength is my ability to work well with all types of people. I work hard and value team work, honesty, and communication. I respect the views of others and believe that we all have something to learn from each other. I genuinely love the work I have been able to do as a nurse, and I am excited for the future of the nursing profession.
