CurrentTaught across Year 5 and 6 for four years developing my understanding of SATs teaching and preparing children for 11+ examinations.Supported in the organisation of residentials and trips coordinating with outdoor education (PGL) and Young Voices (02 London). Led a project working alongside Evolution Charity hosted by Cirque Du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall and with Rolls Royce engineering to develop children’s experiences in STEM using Assmeblr equipment.I designed and filmed video content online in reading, writing, maths and the wider curriculum for children to make progress in their learning throughout COVID19 and familiar with Goggle Classroom.Worked alongside my Deputy Head as Art and DT subject leader to redesign the school's curriculum, designed assessment systems, teaching displays and self-assessment materials for children across KS1 and 2.Taught in Year 1 and Reception gaining an insight into teaching and preparing a continuous provision for learning through play in Early Years.Mentored a PGCE student in Year 1; modelling teaching, advising on behaviour management systems and evaluating performance alongside university tutors.Led lesson studies for teachers to observe me in facilitating DT lessons and currently work as a DT tutor for SCITT students.Worked alongside the Royal Culinary Arts charity to provide workshops for children in nutrition.Liaised with external local artists to provide workshops for children in mural paintings and animation, this led to learning being showcased in the National Portrait Gallery.Facilitated STEAM clubs, enabling children to lead their own STEAM Fair for the school community to partake in activities. Led extra curricular art and dance clubs for children to partake in across KS1 and KS2. Worked with the Royal Academy of Dance for children to partake in dance workshops with Darcey Bussel.Liaised with School Food Matters enabling children to partake in gardening workshops and selling food at Borough Market.
