During my career I worked both on scientific and operational aspects of Petroleum Geology. During my experience in G.E.Plan, I acquired a wide experience in various aspects of E&P industry, both in exploration (evaluation potential and selection of exploration block in Italy, basin reviews) and development for characterization of fractured/complex carbonate reservoir using a multidisciplinary approach, including well logs interpretation (clustering and AI techniques), seismic interpretation, thin sections descriptions (petrography, micropaleontology), core analyses and subsurface mapping. I was also responsible for the redaction of environmental assessments for HC exploration activity in several Italian blocks. I am/was involved in regional evaluation studies in the Mediterranean areas (Adriatic, Southern Apennines, Sicily Channel and Unconventional). I am also working on projects related to exploration for clastic plays and characterization of clastic reservoirs using and integrating seismic, cores, electric logs and petrophysical data (Sw, phi, K).My main technical activities/tasks are: sedimentology (core description, petrographic analyses, facies analysis including micropaleontology), well logs and seismic interpretation, structural geology and environmental geology applied to HC exploration. I was in charge of the E&P scouting activity in Italy for some clients.I am involved in organizing and leading some training courses for oil companies on complex carbonate reservoir characterization.I have worked on projects in different countries of Europe (Italy, France, Croatia, Albania, Poland, UK), former Soviet Union (Caspian Sea region and Kazakhstan), Iraq (Kurdistan Region), North Africa (Algeria, Tunisia and Libia) and South America (Venezuela), North America.Leader Training Course on: Complex Carbonate Reservoirs Show less
