• Maintaining and providing the highest standards of client service and running the UCU operations of the business to ensure maximum profitability is achieved;• Developing and implementing promotional & marketing plans for the UCU food outlets and retail services as well as for the UCU Catering operations and for tenancy (food & retail) on campus;• Liaising with UC Events team to achieve a successful running of conferences, functions and on campus catering deliveries operations;

During this period I worked in the hospitality industry in the United Kingdom (UK), including the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel, part of the Marriott Chain of hotels, the Athenaeum Hotel and Apartments, and the Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Liner. My duties in these positions included:involvement in the management of the opening of the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel;management of staff including training;conflict resolution; andprovision of a high level of customer service including management of the Captain’s Table on the Queen Elizabeth II cruise liner.
