As a senior sales executive for some of the largest technology and consulting companies in the world, Mara has many years training in taking what is possible and making it a tangible reality for clients. This is the level of service and vision that Mara brings to every real estate client and transaction.Prior to joining The Dawn McKenna Group, Mara was a successful Broker with The Busby Group, Compass and a Sales Executive at Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Intel and later Capgemini, negotiating multi-million-dollar deals, and implementing transformational programs to answer her client’s most complex problems. Mara was the “quarterback” of these deals, much like she is today for all of her real estate transactions. Mara caters to and understands the lifestyle of a busy professional since she lived that life for many years. Overcoming obstacles before they arise and providing concierge-level services are business foundations for Mara.Driven by a desire to combine her passion for building relationships and her love of home renovation and interior design, real estate was the natural next step for Mara. As with large scale technology sales, there is no margin for error in real estate.Mara and her husband have owned property in Southwest Michigan for over 15 years and have recently made Michigan their primary residence. Mara is licensed in IL, Michigan and Indiana focusing on Harbor Country and Michiana, New Buffalo, Union Pier, Lakeside, Sawyer, Three Oaks, and additional areas north up to Grand Haven. Friends that know her well joke that Mara knows everyone in Chicago and Southwest Michigan because she is always busy. When not working, Mara loves to be active in the community and is on the board of the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center, and actively supports KPMG’s Family for Literacy (KFFL).Mara currently lives in Sawyer, Michigan. Blessed with boundless energy, when not working Mara teaches and practices yoga at Prana / Life Studio in New Buffalo, enjoys long distance cycling events, golf and cross-country skiing.
