Criollo-Rivera is passionate about children’s television programming, specializing in visual development, storyboarding, illustration, and screenwriting. As a recipient of the 2023-2025 Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship, she is recognized for creating impactful narratives that promote equity in children's media. Additionally, she has consulted on and edited scripts for acclaimed short films, ensuring cohesive storytelling and narrative clarity across projects.Her research experience includes working as a bilingual research assistant at the Cognitive Development Lab, where she studied generational dynamics within Puerto Rican families. Currently, she works at the Paul J. Burgett Intercultural Center, promoting cultural awareness and inclusivity through various program initiatives. With her expertise in visual development, illustration, screenwriting, storyboarding, and child development research, she is dedicated to creating meaningful, inclusive content that resonates with young audiences.
