I lead a team of high-achieving directors to cultivate relationships with healthcare centers and key leaders in the field throughout the Midwest. I bring them on board to champion Upstream’s intervention model to increase access to the full range of birth control options for patients. Upstream provides partners with patient-centered, evidence-based training and technical assistance that eliminate barriers to offering the full range of contraception. We work to ensure a tailored, cohesive experience for the whole healthcare team.

Through UFacilitate, I coach leaders in facilitating engaging and transformative experiences that bring about Connection, Collaboration and Co-creation. We believe that facilitation is a critical 21st Century leadership skill, and help to spread this skill to leaders in different organizations and sectors through the UFacilitate Coaching Process.

I led outreach and engagement with physicians, practices, communities, and patients for the Michigan Women's Health Initiative (MiWHI) in its statewide efforts to improve women’s health so that it’s responsive to their needs, respects their preferences, and supports them in leading safe, healthy lives. - I used community-engaged strategies to develop a Community Action Board- I managed an FDA-sponsored grant to develop new patient-centered clinical practice guidelines on post-operative opioid prescribing for pregnant and birthing people - I cultivated relationships and strategy for a pilot initiative to incorporate social needs screening and referrals to community case management in prenatal care in Kent County

As the Program Manager, I oversaw the implementation of ACOG's training initiatives on immediate postpartum contraception LARC, early pregnancy loss management, first trimester abortion care, and equity in family planning. This included developing work plans and timelines, creating educational and advocacy materials and events, collaborating with partners to create and implement interventions, managing program budgets and reporting, and building and maintaining relationships with hospital sites, physicians, and state collaboratives. I traveled extensively to implement our training program and was responsible for training more than 4,000 healthcare providers in diverse settings over four years.

As the Business and Program Manager, I managed budget and financial matters, including grant administration and reporting, and budget reconciliation. I also oversaw the administration of academic programs, including scholarships, relevant courses, and certificate programs.

As an organizer, I identified, recruited, trained, motivated, retained & managed volunteers to assist with various campaign activities daily. I brought a team of volunteers to scale using data-driven metrics and strategic management.

As the Administrator of the Global Women's Issues Policy Working Group, I coordinated policy formulation for the campaign on topics under the umbrella of global women's issues. I managed communication between Senior Gender Advisors, campaign staff, and group members; coordinated monthly calls and the work of subgroups; and maintained working group information in Salesforce.

As the Hillary Rodham Clinton Communications Fellow, I coordinated the day-to-day communications of the Institute. This included: website overhaul and updates, content and design management for the Institute's blog, social media, press and media relations, drafting of press releases and media advisories, and communications for all events. I also produced the Institute's monthly newsletter and developed and placed timely op-eds. As the first Communications Fellow at the Institute, I was responsible for the creation of a long-term communications strategy, which ensured that all communications coming from the Institute are done in a coordinated and strategic way.

Liberating Structures (LS) introduce tiny shifts in the way we meet, plan, decide, and relate to one another. They put the innovative power once reserved for experts in the hands of everyone. I co-coordinated a monthly gathering of LS practitioners and those interested in learning more to practice designing and facilitating group interactions using LS. These "user groups" convene in communities across the world, and I served as a founding co-coordinator of the D.C.-area group.

Little Rock, Arkansas Area

As Program Director, I led the programmatic work of the Women's Foundation of Arkansas, including the Policy and Research Committee and the Grant-Making Committee. I provided leadership through the strategy and implementation of committee activities. I also assisted with institutional fundraising, and provided timely analysis to WFA staff, constituents, and board members on issues impacting women and girls in Arkansas.

Little Rock, Arkansas

The Women's Foundation of Arkansas started a Policy and Research Committee to educate the public and legislators on issues relevant to women and girls in the state of Arkansas. As a consultant to the committee, I worked to formalize the structure of the committee based on evidence-based best practices. I developed a comprehensive strategic planning report for the committee, including recommendations for mission, vision, budget, structure, strategic partnerships, goals and strategies, outreach activities, web-based tools to utilize, and more. My work laid the foundation for the Women's Foundation to have strong influence in future legislative sessions and to elevate the status of women and girls in the state.

Little Rock, Arkansas

As a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Admissions at the Clinton School, I assisted the Director of Admissions with all activities related to new student orientation, recruitment and admissions, and alumni outreach. I also served as the student representative on the admissions committee to recruit and select students for the next class.

Little Rock, Arkansas Area

As part of a team of consultants, I conducted research on international aid and development organizations, including timely critiques and potential traps of international NGOs. We prepared and delivered a presentation for top executives to provoke critical thinking and aid in developing organizational strategy moving forward.

Ometepe Island, Nicaragua

As an international public service project as part of the Clinton School curriculum, I spent the summer working with a naturopathic health clinic. I lived with the people of Ometepe Island in Nicaragua, where I worked to develop the curriculum for educational workshops on topics related to violence against women in Nicaragua. I created the curriculum in English, and translated all materials into Spanish. I conducted significant secondary research on violence against women in Latin America, and I compiled resources about domestic violence in Spanish to leave with the program for future use.

Little Rock, Arkansas Area

As a Practicum project with the Clinton School, I conducted in-depth research to inform a white paper of recommendations to enhance the organization of the service community in Little Rock to better meet the needs to individuals exiting jails and prisons. I worked with a team of Clinton School students to collect and compile information about all service providers in Little Rock that serve individuals with a criminal record so that the individuals and organizations are better able to access these services. Through our analysis, we were able to make evidence-based recommendations for this community.

Coral Gables, Florida

In my capacity as an AmeriCorps Public Ally, I worked as a liaison between the Office of Civic and Community Engagement and the Butler Center for Service and Leadership at the University of Miami. As one office is under Academic Affairs and the other is in Student Life, I worked to determine the ways in which these offices would collaborate on civic engagement projects. This included coordinating the partnership with Southridge High School, which consisted of selection, orientation, tracking, assessment, and expansion. I also conducted a national benchmarking study and developed requirements and implementation plan for the UM Civic Scholars program. I developed and facilitated workshops with Engaged Faculty Fellows to aid in enhancing engaged scholarship in courses. I planned and executed special events, such as: Food Day, National Volunteer Week, and Nonprofit Networking Night. And I set the standard for the ways in which the two offices would work together.

Hialeah, Florida

As an AmeriCorps VISTA, I worked in the Institute for Civic Engagement and Democracy to coordinate academic service-learning projects for 1,600+ college students at the nation’s largest and most diverse college. I managed faculty recruitment and retention, achieving a 40% increase in faculty utilizing service-learning in curriculum. I promoted service-learning via volunteer fairs and 120+ presentations, resulting in 69% increase in student participation. I cultivated and maintained partnerships with 120+ nonprofit agencies where students performed relevant service. I garnered $2,500+ of in-kind donations from local businesses and corporate sponsors for department use.

As a Resident Assistant, I provided conflict management and resource referrals for 45 coed residents, including transfer and international students. I also built community, promoted diversity, and formed bonds through interactions and active programming

The Health Programs at the Carter Center work to address neglected tropical diseases in subsaharan Africa and Latin America, and mental illness in the United States. As an intern in the Health Programs Development department at The Carter Center, I managed reports, documentation and briefing papers for international health program grants and meetings. I supported the grant writing team in requests and reporting through research, written drafts and revisions. I investigated new funding prospects utilizing Raiser’s Edge software and a variety of nonprofit resources
