Kaituitui Mātauranga Ā Hapori
CurrentOi is a group of Māori women, and good friends, who all grew up down dirt roads around Aotearoa – from the Hokianga Harbour to the Ruatoki Valley to Tokomaru Bay.After a while of testing the waters as independent contractors working toward social impact, we decided that “our powers combined” was a more effective, enriching and sustainable journey to undertake. That led to the formation of Oi, a Māori social innovation collective who activate, disrupt and grow new levels of awesomeness through the use of social and cultural innovation, design thinking and community development. The power of a collective allows our skill base to be spread across a range of specialities - from strategic planning, facilitation and research right through to community or iwi development. We work individually as well as collectively to support each other through the innovation process - to enliven ideas, innovations, explorations and creativity.
