Successful, transformational, workplace-enhancing DEI work needs to start with creating an environment where participants feel safe and respected, so they can get uncomfortable and grow beyond their learning edge. Every single training and professional relationship I engage in fosters an atmosphere of safety, relatability and non-judgment that lends to greater willingness to be authentic, open, and ultimately to stretch beyond our comfort zone and make change possible.I have 20+ years developing, writing and facilitating training curricula with an anti-bias, anti-oppression and empowerment-based lens. 10+ years teaching at the undergraduate, graduate and PhD levels utilizing collaborative, interactive and experiential approaches.
