Worked with a team to create an MVC web application in C# for a Portland-based theater company. I was in charge of creating and styling a blog page for the company's members as well as creating databases to store all created profiles.

I worked as the main Native English teacher for Yangdeok middle school, Gangwon Practical science High school, Sokcho Elementary school, Hyopshin Elementary, and Seoseok Middle school. I was in charge of creating fun interactive lessons from scratch that would test students on conversation techniques and pronunciation. Majority of classes were done in a project or game format to make it as interactive as possible. I was also in-charge of creating and running several winter and summer language camps for students who needed extra practice and had difficulties learning in a normal school setting.

the lovely ladies at sweet Life patisserie were great at letting me work for a few months while I was waiting on my job placement in Korea. I took desert orders, made coffee and teas, cleaned and organized the store, boxed up cakes and treats, and took orders for specialized cakes. I had so much fun working with this lively and free crew, and was thankful the owners would give me a free slice of cake everyday.

I was initially hired on as an apprentice to the main jeweler, but my good social skills were needed more on the floor of the store. I worked as a salesperson and fine jewelry consultant. I would explain and educate about gemstones and fine metals, as well as help customers design their own unique jewelry. I was in charge of quality control of all finished jewelry (checking stone tightness, fit, and ensure everything was to customers specifications). Also my background in graphic design came in handy as I was asked to be the main photographer and photo editor for the store's products, and was put in-charge of all social media, networking, newsletters, and creating the annual holiday store catalogue.
