As part of Virginia Tech's Industrial and Systems Engineering capstone project, my senior design team and I supported a local non-profit organization in building consistent revenue sources to support their community development initiatives. Performing market research and looking into demographic data on the region, we were able to cater our solutions to just the right scale for this business. We partnered up with Salesforce to bring our new and improved website design to life, with data collection and customer transactions all following our process flow diagrams. Together, we succeeded in launching a fully online reservation portal which automates the room rental process for our client. This was estimated to have saved our client over $92,000 in development costs.As a result of our work, we increased office space utilization from 8.33% to 91.67%. Our client was also pleased to be able to project monthly revenue increasing by 1650% over the next year.

Leading a board of 11 officers towards goals of chapter improvement and increased student engagement.

Invited as 1 of only 5 freshman to join the planning committee in meeting biweekly to make arrangements for 150 prospective female engineering students to visit the Hypatia LLC and properly tour Virginia Tech for a weekend.Planned lab tours, overnight hosts, volunteer schedule, t-shirt designs, food orders, studio activities, lunch at Lane Stadium, and more!

ELDP - Engineering Leadership and Development ProgramServed as the first ever intern on the Regulatory Quality Compliance Infrastructure team to develop a framework for manufacturing new products. This process guide allows for enhanced productivity, connectivity, and maintenance of data integrity across all involved teams and individuals from Product Development to Commercialization and beyond.By digging deep into various responsibilities and presenting them in one chart and slideshow, the requirements of a new product can be better understood and rearranged at a wider scope.Built an Access database of current and expired STEM collaborations focused on research and development.

Consulted with company clients in the federal, commercial, and non-profit sectors to develop and debug software on an agile software development team. Worked on projects using a variety of programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Python.Served on the Rhythm Energy development team which provides renewable energy services to Texas homeowners.

Ensured the safety and success of 45 residents as well as the general welfare of 780 students.Resolved conflicts, enforced policy, and built a sense of community as a student staff member.Strengthened the connection between administration and staff by serving as one of two Hoge Hall Representatives on the Student Staff Council. Organize and advertise an annual live performance event for 2800+ Virginia Tech students.Promote a greater understanding of black culture among students, employees, and community members at Virginia Tech through the presentation of diverse events that showcase the educational and artistic contributions of African Americans.

Engaged two elementary school kids ages 9 and 11 in reading, math practice, and board games. Worked on summer weekdays and gave parents a weekly summary every Friday.

Hosted a local middle school STEM fair, planned a field trip to George Mason University Engineering, and created a counting-book service project for neighboring preschools and communities in needs. WIMS is a student-led organization that encourages young women and girls to pursue careers in STEM-related fields. We celebrate and acknowledge women throughout history who have made contributions to the field of mathematics. Our members provide service to the school and community through tutoring and math-related service opportunities. We strive to raise awareness of the opportunities and benefits that a STEM education offers girls and young women.

Presented to 100+ Congregation members and served as a salesperson at bazaars and craft shows located at churches all over the East Coast, 2-3 weekends a month. Helped to raise awareness and funds for the struggling minority of Christians in the Holy Land.
