MARA H. LANE, M.S., CCC/SLP, is a speech and language pathologist with extensive experience providing individualized, intensive diagnosis and treatment for children (ages 2 - 17 years) that have been diagnosed with autism, social communication disorders, delayed language, articulation, phonological deficits, auditory processing disability, and hearing impairment/deafness. Additionally, social pragmatic language groups are available for those children whose communication needs warrant development of their social cognitive thinking skills.Mara is the Founder & Owner of Comprehensive Speech and Language Pathology. She is past President and currently a Board member of the North Suburban Speech & Language Association and Special Kids Foundation. Mara is the CampDirector of One in a Hundred Summer Camp Program which is a therapeutic day camp which provides intensive social pragmatic language therapy and social emotional learning to children in grades 1-8 within a day camp setting.
