Study, design and implement the new warehouse layout in order to increase the storage capacity, improve glass flow between the stock / the different production lines and assure on time orders preparation.Study, design and implement of new types of storage in order to face to the Increase of product diversity.Build a safety culture by reviewing all working procedures and provide safety and certificate equipment. Implementation of visual management and lead the continuous Improvement in the department.

Responsible for ensuring that all managers, process owners and supervisors develop and maintain their part of the quality management system.Maintains the ISO 9001:2008 and manage the relating Internal audit process.Manage all other external certifications for the site.

On a 4-shift rotation, I managed and led a team of 5 supervisors and 50 operators (2 production lines + warehouse department + shift maintenance department). I was also the production and equipment superintendent. When I was working nights and Week-Ends, I was the highest authority/responsible of the plant.I assured permanent safety, quality and improvement of the 2 production lines: float glass production line and the coated glass production line.I delivered multiple short and long term solutions designed to manage the change processes and meet business targets.I assured that orders were prepared and shipped in time to keep the customer satisfaction.

I managed projects after the sales process to the start on site for European, Asian and Middle East customers. I was the link between customer and the organization. I translated the order into an action plan for the rest of the organization and followed up on that plan both technically and commercially. My main activities were: - Communication: Establish and maintains pro-active communications with customers throughout the project. I supervised our different department leading progress meeting and maintaining a dialog with all the department.- Commercial/ Budget: With the sales engineer I ensured that a Contract Review has been carried out which results in a thorough understanding and assessment of the commercial and technical risks, time constraints and overall requirements of the project. I confirmed the budget estimation and issue the order acknowledgment.- Product Design/Process and improvement: Oversees and contributes to, the overall design process coordinating our department (Process, Instrum., development, Drafting,…) and ensure that design respect the customer specs.- Fabrication: I reviewed, ensured accuracy, and released Fabrication File to Production Control. I followed up on progress and expedites as necessary; organized inspections and personally inspect as appropriate.- Procurement: I communicated Budget, with necessary level of detail, to procurement, trigger procurement process (Inquiries) by accurately firm planning requirements in terms of quantity, quality and delay.. Reviews, approves or rejects proposals on a technical and timeline basis and confirms requirements. - Quality: I established the top level document (Schedule, Quality plan). I defined the product quality according to customer specification. I reviewed the quality procedure and certificate, inspect the product during the manufacturing and lead the final inspection with the customer.
