Redesigned the fixture for the Ballizing machine to improve alignment, enhance the reciprocating motion of the fixture, and consequently eliminate scrap. Constructed AutoCAD 3D drawings for the proposed redesigned ballizing fixture incorporated with linear motion bearings and hardened shaft to ensure precision and accuracy of the process and to reduce number of rejected outputs with scour marks and defects. Created reports for part errors and other issues with the aim of tracking their probable causes and obtain solutions to achieve higher manufacturing efficiency.
