After 12 years as a Technical Instructor with companies such as Sonus Networks, Avaya and Spectel, moving to EMC as a Sr. Learning and Development Trainer was a dream come true. During my time at EMC, I developed and delivered a broad range of learning solutions designed to enhance the performance of globally distributed individual contributors and managers throughout the company. Working closely with business leaders, I created and delivered a variety of custom designed and open enrollment programs to meet their specific needs. At Atrius Health, I created e-learning programs and continued to facilitate live training events. At Citizen’s Bank, I was on an Agile training team where I facilitated numerous employee trainings on change management, adopting an Agile mindset, and diversity and inclusion in Agile.Throughout my career, I have developed a reputation for establishing a dynamic classroom environment and drilling down into the material so students obtain a complete understanding of the topic at hand. My deep business and technical knowledge, combined with my cultural awareness through years of on-site international training, allows me to put myself in the shoes of the student and develop the material with their learning needs in mind. I have successfully delivered in-person classroom training; adapted class material to an instructor-led, on-line format; provided one-on-one coaching/mentoring; and updated and developed new curriculum. The role involved designing product/ application courseware for new employees and training current employees on product modifications.
