- A crown corporation with 35 staff that regulates the investment market in New Brunswick.- Through interviews, networking and internet based research, I generated over 150 ideas on developing the province’s capital markets including changes in the tax structure to cultural changes in academia and enhanced entrepreneur education programs. - Originated, instituted and coordinated a strategy to effectively change the investment landscape of the province and so foster early stage equity investment (angel, venture capital) and economic growth.- Counseled and trained entrepreneurs in business plan writing, submissions for funding and “pitches” to investors.- My work, published reports and expertise garnered me with media interviews, speaking engagements and the Canadian Investment Award for Best New Initiative from the Canadian investment industry.

The substantial savings reported were then pushed down to budget owners.- Utilizing portfolio theory, net present value, probability and cost of machine failure, I implemented a report that showed savings accrued through preventative maintenance.- Successfully generated a sophisticated Excel program which provided refinery management with real time KPI’s.
