I was born and grew up in Barcelona (Spain). However, at the age of 18, I decided to travel to London during my gap year, and I loved the city where I wanted to live and make my academic and professional career while developing as an individual.From all my hobbies, I helped a friend who wanted to become a DJ by creating and managing his social media, and we achieved to be part of a weekly program in an Italian radio. Moreover, I am currently doing martial arts in my leisure time as part of doing exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle and release energy.I am currently studying MSc Chemical Research, which helped me apply all the knowledge I acquired during my three years of the degree. As a result, I became even more motivated to achieve the highest grades. As a research project, I have based it on the synthesis of aromatic fluorine molecules that produce fluorescence for being applied in solar cells to make them more efficient. By doing this project, I have had the opportunity to use all the knowledge acquired during my undergraduate and master my lab and analytical skills.Alongside studying at university, I also work part-time as a bartender, where I have developed exceptional manual dexterity and precision skills; these can also be applied to the lab setting. Having arrived in England only six years ago and having to learn a new language and way of life by myself, I realised that I possess good learning and teaching skills. I have applied these skills to tutor GCSE students for Spanish and Science. I am versatile and have the ability to rapidly adapt to different environments, always ready to embrace a challenge. In addition, I took part in a mentoring program. I was mentored by the Senior Researcher banknotes in the Bank of England, who taught me about the chemical industry's practical and professional experience in research.
