About Marc Andersch
I have twenty years experience in the administration, financial and accounting function of various multi-national companies, which ultimately reported into groups listed on the New York and Paris stock exchanges. This experience has been obtained predominantly in the logistics industry, at UPS and Shenker, as well as manufacturing industry experience at Essilor, a French optical lens manufacturer. I have held the position of Financial Controller and my areas of responsibility have included the office administration, full daily financial administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, the annual audit as well as involvement in the HR and payroll function, although the HR and payroll functions did not fall directly under my responsibility. In these positions I reported to the local CEO as well as the head office controlling departments in Europe. I have been responsible for liaising with the local external auditors, exchange control regulatory representatives, and have held the position of company secretary, as well as being a trustee on the company Pension Funds.
