Novadaq is the market leader for perfusion imaging systems. After the trade sale of Aïmago SA to Novadaq, I continued to work on follow-up projects. As lead engineer for a non-invasive hand-held perfusion imaging device I was responsible for the overall system design of the device which included electronics, optics and mechanics. I also worked in-depth on researching improved optics & algorithms and as design engineer for electronics and software:- System design and component evaluation. User interface, usability, requirements, specifications, optics/electronics/mechanical concepts & interfaces, 60601, etc.- High-speed & low power electronics design, including PCB layout and uC software- Algorithm and optics research & development, integration in GPU- Custom driver development for Linux kernel- Operating system (Linux buildroot) configuration and field upgrade procedures- C, CUDA, OpenGL, bash, Matlab, etc.

The contact less and non-invasive technology is based on Laser Doppler Imaging (LDI). - Management of product engineering and research.
