I have worked in the Logistics field since May 2018. Starting off as a floor employee and working up the team chain. I have been responsible for training new hires in safety, procedures, power equipment, and basic work responsibilities. As well as training I was in charge of fixing systematic errors with merchandise that the building received, managing departmental employees and workload and ensuring the success of my employees as well as the success of the department in general. I was responsible for movement of freight inside and outside of the building and ensuring that priority work was always getting worked on. Now my duties consist of ensuring the safety of all working members inside of the building, verification of freight and trailers entering and leaving the premises, ensuring the security of the merchandise and within the building, validating workers and records are to OSHA standards,as well as emergency procedure and system checks.
