I took my MSc in Survey Methods for Social Research at the University of Essex. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Political and Administration Science (Universitat Pompeu Fabra). Currently, I am a PhD candidate in the Institute of Social Sciences at the Université de Lausanne and an affiliated researcher at FORS, the Swiss Centre of Expertise in the Social Sciences. Here, I conduct my research about smartphone web survey data collection. Besides, I also work on other innovative projects related to web surveys in the swiss context.Furthermore, I assist the teaching of two courses at the Université de Lausanne: Questionnaire design (Master's level) and Large Population Surveys: Empirical Analysis I and II (Bachelor's level); and one summer school course: Survey methods and Questionnaire design.Previously I worked full time as a Researcher at the Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM). There, I was involved in several projects related to the European Social Survey (ESS), mainly assessing survey data quality. I also participated on the Survey Quality Predictor software (SQP 2.0) project. Now, I continue to actively collaborate with RECSM.My main research interests are survey methods, questionnaire design & improvement, web surveys and new survey tools for data collection.
