We monitored every critical system at CARFAX.Our team held the unenviable positions of paging sysAdmins and other infrastructure employees when systems went down. We handled thousands of events per day, filtering and escalating when appropriate. Needless to say, failure was not an option. Happy sysAdmins are good sysAdmins.

Columbia, Missouri Area

We maintained the databases of CARFAX supporting both the front end customers from the internet to the back end databases used for reporting. I worked with a front end web developer to design and build the front end credit card application for all consumer transactions. He handled the GUI specifications from the marketing folks while I handled consumer data along with payment transactions. Needless to say, accounting was always in contact when there were anomalies and we were able to satisfy all of their requests. I loved being a DBA.
