About Marc Brown

Building People (HR) team capabilities and integrating them deeper into the business is my passion. My specialty is business partnering - whether with the CEO and executive team or individual leaders and their functions. Leveraging my multi-industry experience, I understand and manage the intersection of employees, customer experience, and business success, creating and launching pragmatic solutions to client and business-specific needs.Fun facts:- Born in Rio de Janiero, Brazil and used to go watch Pele play in D.C. when his NY Cosmos came to town- Moved from East to West (VA/MD -> OK/KS -> MN -> CA) and have kids living in Hawaii, London, and here in San Diego- Lifelong learner from teaching myself to swim to SCUBA instructor, raising rescued labs to brewing beer, and most recently developing (from scratch) and teaching a 12-week course on Employee Benefits during a sabbatical.
