Consider it connected! I fell into the information technology field, and I am glad I did. I recall prior to enlisting while speaking to a recruiter and reviewing potential MOS’s I asked him, “which MOS would help me get a good job after my service?” He pointed to one and said, “This one. It has this new thing called fiber optics, and it’s the future.” Luck or fate, I am grateful that I was guided to the information technology field. I have been privileged enough to have made memories and create friendships with the most outstanding and professional people from my time as an Airman in the Air Force to President at Current Technology Group. I currently lead and amazing team of talented individuals who deliver the life blood of businesses. We maintain and enhance a variety of large businesses information technology systems. From mapping a printer to a network to a 4,000+ wireless access point deployment, we treat every customer and every project, large and small, with the same attention to detail and focus.With the rapid changes in the information technology landscape, what we do today could be obsolete next year and staying at the forefront of IT lightning bolt can be challenging.
