I must admit that, almost like every teenager from ten years ago, I had my mind into being sociably accepted instead of giving any importance to what was happening worldwide. However, it all changed in 2013 when, thanks to a passionate Contemporary History teacher, I aknowledged that considerable affairs were always occurring throughout the whole planet without most people even noticing them. That was the moment when, being only sixteen years old, I realised the massive importance of geopolitics.Even though I finished the pre-university studies (known as "Bachillerato" in Spain) two years later and started my working life, my interest didn't fall away and I kept informing myself about the events taking place every moment, trying to implement what I learnt: a critical point of view to find out which is the truth.On 12th June, 2019, I had an accident that would allow me to have time to think about my life and what I wanted to do with it. With the unconditional help of my girlfriend and the support of my parents, my brother and my friends, I gathered enough courage to start a university degree in International Relations (which I'm currently studying), which would improve my skills in political science. Also with their help, I attended to the CWMUN Rome 2020 conference, which had a significant impact on me.In March, 2020, when the national lockdown was decreted, I decided that I wanted to take a step further: it was not enough with analysing the reality, but I wanted to take a role in it. The university degree would then become the spine of my academic project, complementing it with several courses (some of them have already been done) and a future master degree.My goal is as ambitious as difficult to accomplish: to take a role in global geopolitics. Despite the fact that it is a long-term journey, I've proved myself diverse times during these last years that patience, curiosity, resilience, cold mind, planning and hard-working skills are my greatest weapons to achieve mthisobjective. As a great man once said, "Sometimes - history needs a push", and that's where I am aiming for.
