I have much experience in successfully managing diverse and complex stakeholder groups right across my career. In my most recent role, I often had to balance the sometimes conflicting requirements and views of a number of parties to drive projects to a successful conclusion. I have particularly strong communication skills right across the mix – and am equally comfortable communicating in person to a group or writing material for diverse audiences and for diverse media. My passion is to ‘make the complex simple’ and do so in a way which builds empathy and support for the ideas being expressed. I am a restlessly creative problem solver - always searching for the best way to get the right result with the minimum budget. As comfortable operating at Board level as with front line personnel and local organisations, although very much a ‘hands on’ communicator, I am happy developing and directing strategy as rolling up my sleeves and getting on with the detail of delivery.
