• 40+ hours per week• Educate patients, families, and critical care nurses on various dialysis modalities • Educate critical care nurses on operating CRRT machines• Initiating and maintaining CRRT/Hemodialysis treatments• Monitor CRRT treatments for up to seven hospitals• Assess CRRT filters/exchange them as needed• Assessment pre, mid, post dialysis in a critical care environment• Medication administration through dialysis catheters or AVF/AVG

•40+ hours per week•Admission/Discharge/Transfer of critical patients in a twelve bed ICU•Continuous monitoring over a twelve hour shift with hourly vital signs/output/intake documentation•Management of post surgical monitoring devices and drains such as: Arterial lines, Swan Catheters, CVP, Foley, Hemovacs, JP’s, Extraventricular drains, Lumbar drains•Titration and management of vasopressors, sedation, and antihypertensive medications•Management and maintenance of airway through ET tubes, Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, and various ventilator settings (A/C, SIMV)•Kidney Transplant Course and care of kidney transplant patients•Lab draws/ISTAT, monitoring values, reporting and treating out of range values•Respond/lead rapid responses and code blues for all areas within Henrico Doctors Forest Campus
