About Marc Chiarella

Marc is the Founder and CEO of Bellrock Advisory.He is an admitted solicitor, and practicing legal, insurance and risk professional of 20+ years.A second-generation insurance man, Marc set out working for his father at the family’s insurance broking firm. He later moved to private practice, becoming a Partner in the insurance group at Colin Biggers & Paisley law firm. In 2016 he founded the business now known as Bellrock Advisory which has grown into a national risk advisory firm of over 50 staff, with offices in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Brisbane.Marc has a special interest in governance and leadership. He continues to advise on complex legal and risk issues for clients across a vast range of industry sectors, and hard to place risk classes.With a lifelong passion for football, Marc is an advocate of the benefits of youth sport. He chairs the board of Independent Football Australia, a not for profit organisation dedicated to the promotion and governance of independent youth football providers in Australia. In his spare time, Marc enjoys winemaking under his family label La Sila, producing locally grown wines from the Hunter Valley region.
