Involved in staff recruitment and development, program development, implementation, and evaluation and student admissions. Part of the Leadership Team. Involved in the development and facilitation of training residential care workers in a therapy setting. Provide support to students in crisis and manage the facility and staff on an on-call basis.

Manage/Supervise a staff team and operations of the R.E.A.C.H. Residential Adventure Therapy Treatment Program. Involved in developing individualized care for students, training and development of staff, preparing meeting topics and agenda’s, and creating staffing and programming schedules. Often working with families and organizations through case management to implement programming suitable to fit the needs of the students and their families.

Facilitated intentional therapeutic programming for groups of students. Assessed students growth in goal areas specific to the individualized programming created for the student. Participated in Plans of Care and other meetings in regard to future planning for the students. Led adventure activities and outdoor expeditions for groups of students.

Delivered an intensive therapeutic and behavioural management program. Facilitated adventure activities ranging from games/initiatives, low and high ropes course, led wilderness expeditions, and supported school programs. Managed the program for brief periods of time, responsible for managing the staff and students. Led programs for universities, colleges, public schools and other outside organizations.

Taught a variety of classes and subjects areas aligned with the Ontario Curriculum. Experience in Section 23 classroom setting.

Taught beginner to advanced English. Designed and implemented activities to assess the students. Facilitated an all-English classroom. Worked with the Ministry of Education teachers to create and implement an English program for the school system.
