Also trained in UPLC data interpretation in the same context. Also specialize in protocol development for continuous improvement and customer interaction post-analysis.

Responsible for development and management of the quality control department including testing of incoming raw materials, product intermediates and bases, and final manufactured products.Creation and development of test protocols and procedures with the use of analytical instrumentation in relation to product performance and quality control.Use of instrumentation including GC-MS, FTIR, Rheology, Physical Properties, TGA, HPLC, UV-Vis.Hazardous waste management supervisor.

Consulting and Failure Analysis using:*Qualitative and quantitative Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) for analyzing a wide array knowns and unknowns using various sampling techniques on three different GC-MS systems (Agilent and Varian)*Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy for generic identity of polymers and material characterization*Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) to determine crystalline melting points, specific heat, glass transitions, oxidative induction times, etc.*Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) to determine weight percent loss as a function of time or temperature; often used to determine inorganic residue and filler content in polymers, as well as temperatures at which to perform Thermal Desorption/Pyrolsis-Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (TD/Pyr-GC-MS)*Some experience with HPLC, IC, TMA, and UV/Vis*Data integration and analysis, including writing of formal reports, of small and large scale projects*Quality control experience using a variety of test methods including pH, specific gravity, viscosity, microbial/yeast and mold, solids content, etc.*Help with HAZMAT organization, shipping, etc.; HAZWOPER and RCRA certified.
