Project activities implementation, in order to ensure the strengthening of the emergency response institutions at municipal level, and the linkin between community and municipal levels, enhancing the coordination between both levels in case of disaster:- Capacities and needs assessment of the Disaster Management Municipal Committees in the 4 municipalities of intervention.- Design and implement a basic plan for institutional strengthening, including training, technical assistance and equipment.- Conduct together with the Civil Defense an identification and a diagnosis of potential shelters, identifying and implementing improvements(equipment).- Improve the coordination between the municipal institutions and the Community Disaster Management Networks of the bateyes.- Prepare and lead the monitoring visit of UNDP in order to check the level of implementation of the project (progress by results).- Prepare the Final Reports (for UNDP and for the donor) of the whole Project in their respective formats. - Identified and developed a DRR program with WaSH approach, a community-based project, pioneer in streghtening the DINEPA preparedness and response capacities, to be implemented by Oxfam in Haiti during 2012 and 2013. - Provided support to the Oxfam Intermón team in Haiti to strengthen their skills in implementing DRR activities in the 2011 phase.

Dominican Republic

- Coordinated the Disaster Risk Reduction Project in the Enriquillo Region (AECID founding).- Designed and developped the planning, management, and evaluation of the project, based on efficiency. - Ensured an institutional capacity building of local partners, associates and allies involved. - Oversaw the proper management of project resources. - Participated in the Humanitarian Action planning process for the Enriquillo Region.
