Integrating federal tools powered by OpenStudio to bring consistency, transparency and reliability to ratepayer programs.- DOE K12 ZNE Accelerator: Representing TEC as a national partner in the DOE initiative to develop best practices, roadmaps and actual project deployment for accelerating Zero Net Energy Schools.- Open Efficiency Initiative: Deploying a suite of federal tools that reduce program implementation costs while transitioning workflows to leverage software technology and drive adoption of IDSM strategies aligned with State policy goals.- Various technical advisory committees, national research lab initiatives and industry organizations that further decentralized and decarbonized energy systems.

Community Energy Partnership "CEP" - This Local Government Partnership between 8 SoCal Cities, SCE, SCG and The Energy Coalition promotes energy efficiency in cities through municipal energy efficiency projects, strategic planning, and marketing education and outreach. The California Technical Forum (Cal TF) is a collaborative of experts who use independent professional judgment and a transparent, technically robust process to review and issue technical information related to California’s integrated demand side management portfolio. The Cal TF was created in 2014 by a broad group of stakeholders and is funded by participating program administrators.The Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) is representative of the broad coalition of stakeholders that is invested in the Cal TF: Environmental advocates, public and private utilities, local government, regulators, ratepayer advocates, and industry. Each member is responsible for voicing the concerns of his or her constituency and has committed to working collaboratively with the rest of the group to forge consensus decisions that will benefit the entire state of California.

In the complex world of energy regulation, the Local Government Sustainable Energy Coalition (LGSEC) provides a collective voice for its city, county and local agency members on statewide policy and program issues for sustainable energy, energy efficiency, local renewable power and related issues.
