Site Lead for Cimpress Technology's new location in Prague, during a fixed one-year expat assignment.• Worked with cross-functional teams to select the new office location and establish the office. Advocated for and implemented an agile/entrepreneurial approach to growing the office.• Worked with Recruiting and HR to attract talent, trained and developed interviewing teams, made hiring decisions.• As Squad Lead, built and led an agile team of four software developers working on cloud-based micro-services in the area of manufacturing logistics operations. Managed team members toward autonomy and empowerment using intent-based leadership strategies. (Full- and part-time.) At an early-stage startup, developed several iterations of a mobile-phone-based peer-to-peer messaging and file-sharing application, using Symbian C++ and J2ME MIDP-2. Designed and built robust, optimized, thread-safe utility and compatibility libraries for resource-constrained devices. Implemented scalable tools for building, packaging, and releasing mobile applications for multiple mobile platforms. Designed and built a web-based server control console.
