With almost 20 years in the global pharmaceutical industry, I've dedicated my career to advancing analytical R&D, ensuring product integrity, and building high-performing teams. My journey started with a PhD in organic chemistry, and since then, I've had the opportunity to work across the entire product lifecycle, from early-phase development to commercialization and supply.Currently, I'm a Principal Scientist and Scientific Supervisor. As a global project Co-lead, I develop novel formulation concepts for small molecule formulations, including peptides for clinical studies. Additionally, I lead the Small Molecule Analytical R&D GMP group and oversee QC for global clinical supply packaging operations.Before this, I was the Director of Supply Analytical Sciences, where I led diverse teams in Switzerland and the US, responsible for global extraneous matter investigations, comparative dissolution studies, and vendor qualifications. I established the European Supply Analytical Sciences Hub and developed innovative solutions to handle increased workloads without additional headcount. These efforts significantly improved global lead times for customer complaint investigations and enhanced compliance.Earlier in my career, I served as Associate Director, Associate Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist, managing various analytical development projects and leading the Center of Excellence for Comparator Blinding. I also managed stability studies for both small and large molecules and oversaw QC for global clinical supply packaging operations.Throughout my career, I've been committed to innovation, digital transformation and process optimization. I've led the site implementation of an electronic laboratory notebook and LIMS system, and developed a Power BI dashboard to harmonize metrics and visualize workload trends.I'm passionate about people development and have a proven track record of building and cultivating diverse teams. My strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills have enabled me to organize symposiums, and foster cross-departmental communication.Outside of work, I enjoy skiing, sailing, cycling, and traveling. I'm fluent in English and German and hold dual citizenship in Germany and Canada.
