Marcus Dawes is a partner at Dawes Patent Law Group. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California, Irvine in 2006. Very soon thereafter, Marcus obtained his license to practice as a patent agent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office and has worked on a variety of different cases ever since including everything from biomedical device and highly sensitive gyroscope-enabled measurement devices to designs for household items.While continuing to prosecute patent applications in front of the USPTO as a patent agent, Marcus obtained his J.D. from Northwestern California University School of Law and became a member of the California bar as a patent attorney. Marcus has since expanded his practice to include trademarks and other intellectual property matters.In addition to prosecuting cases for clients from around the country, Marcus has since established a close working relationship with several associates including Europe, Canada, and Australia which has helped many clients expand their patent portfolios beyond the United States.
