The tremendous evolution that IT went through in recent years can significantly empower businesses to respond to the higher expectations and demands of their clients and partners, to help them develop new business models and improve their own efficiency. IT is a complex matter and it is my mission and passion to facilitate this complexity and to make my customers understand how IT can help them grow. In my current role, I am adamant to promote and steer the value proposition of the company I work for to be customer focussed and oriented, so that it directly addresses customers’ business needs and aspirations.I’ve been a member of Agoria, the Belgian federation for technology industries, for many years and I was even elected their chair of the board for 3 years. Agoria paves the way for all technology-inspired companies in Belgium who increase economical welfare and quality of life through the development and application of technological innovations. I have dedicated my entire career to IT.For more than 20 years, I have provided IT solutions and services for the Banking industry. My role has evolved from technological R&D and software design, through management of solution implementation projects for our customer banks, to international business development and general management. I was CEO of Callataÿ & Wouters (banking software vendor) from 2007 to 2012 and then Managing Director for Sopra Banking Software until 2015.I was country Director Belgium for Cegeka and then joined NRB in 2018 as their group Chief Commercial Officer.At Capyx we thrive to put the customer at the centre of our strategy.
