Marc Diamond is an NRA Certified Instructor and a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Certified License to Carry Instructor. Marc is a United States Navy veteran of Honorable service (March 1984 thru November 1993) achieving the rank of Gunner’s Mate Guns (GMG1) Petty Officer First Class. During this time, he maintained shipboard gun mounts and ordnance systems, and supervised crews in their operation. He also trained personnel in the use and maintenance of large caliber guns and small arms.In 1994 following a successful military career, Marc achieved his next goal and lifelong dream of attending and graduating from the Police Academy in Los Angeles, California, to join the ranks of the Los Angeles Police Department. During his 26-year career until his retirement in 2020, Marc worked numerous uniformed and plain clothes assignments including patrol, patrol training officer, narcotics, special problems unit and property crimes unit. Marc was promoted to Detective in 2008 and assigned to Van Nuys Division where he remained until his retirement in 2020.
