Marc Dumont Team Leader Suppliers & Equipment Qualification Doel and Lead Auditor.16 years of experience in supplies to Nuclear Power Plants and managing a team of engineers. Afterwards 6 years involvement in diverse nuclear hardware qualification studies. Between 1996 and 2012 he was responsible for the management of the technical and commercial department in the Belgian branch office of the Asco Industrial Automation division (Emerson Electric). In this function he was also the representative for the Belgian Nuclear Power Plants overseeing technical support, environmental qualification, factory acceptance tests and sales of nuclear solenoid valves. In 2012 he joined Tractebel fully focussing on hardware qualification and supplier audits. He worked on various qualification projects among which the incore thermocouples, ex-core neutron detection and solenoid valves. He mainly contributes to aging studies of self heating equipment such as continuously energized valves. During the Long Term Operation project of Tihange 1 he acted as contact person for the I&C qualification studies. Since 2018 he leads the Doel Suppliers and Equipment Qualification team.
