CurrentSoftware Products Department- Created high level design and led development team for new product (Crestron Home) feature.- Coordinated with developers and UX designers in other groups to schedule their time to complete required tasks when implementing new Crestron Home features.- Wrote new runtime unit test cases for the nightly product test collections, increasing the total number of unit tests to 34 for the Climate feature, and 75 for the Interrupts feature, covering all client accessible methods, events, and errors.- Refined automation of customer data migration tests, allowing unattended overnight execution on the complete set of customer configuration data, while significantly reducing false positives.- Worked with technical support and quality engineers to troubleshoot customer issues, fix the problems, and create software patches as necessary.- Proactively wrote scanner identifying 88 instances of a known virus in 8215 customer configurations. Forwarded the dealer info of the infected systems to Advanced Technical Support to resolve the issue with the affected dealers.Software Tools Department- Built new product (SystemBuilder) utilizing the SDLC to go from POC to Product Implementation and release, and was named product lead the following year, managing a team of up to eight software engineers.- After several subsequent releases of SystemBuilder, was named product lead of a related product (D3 Pro), managing an additional team of software engineers.
