Implements security procedures and tools… Show more Systems Administrator that has been trained as a voice tech as well as a junior Motorola radio technician due to being at post without the other two tech shops readily available.• Plans and schedules installation of hardware, operating systems and applications software• Manages accounts, network rights and access to systems. Manages systems resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability. Implements security procedures and tools. • Develops and documents SOP’s and resolves hardware/software interface problems while ensuring systems functionality and integrity.• Provides day-to-day service to over 1,000 users dealing with creation of new user accounts, password resets and training users on network systems.• Conduct fault isolations and technical control of voice lines and associated equipment. Perform manual install operations to include pulling wire, cable, running and installing conduit and terminating various cables. Programs and installs various phone systems throughout the Consulate post to include troubleshooting and repair of down circuits.• Programs, configures, issues and maintains portable handheld Motorola radios to all personnel at post. Troubleshoots and corrects system faults with vehicle radios at an intermediate level and provides feedback to radio shop techs on more advanced problems Show less
