For the role above I was heavily involved with supporting English and Japanese engineers with major equipment installation projects in addition to overall the responsibilities listed below

Jointly responsible to ensure all production equipment remained operational during 2 shifts for Vehicle Quality DeptRESPONSIBILITIES: -Included the overall responsibility to recover, report and implement countermeasures on production breakdowns using knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and / or Mitsubishi PLC programs. Department Project & Maintenance based activities including the development of detailed action plans and technical specifications, other responsibilities included: -Establishment and control of departmental equipment maintenance schedules, including PPM activitiesCarry out and control VQ dept calibration requirementsReport TQM control items covering monthly equipment issues and downtime detailLiaising with external suppliers and contractorsManagement and supervision of external contractors and teamsPreparation and control of annual maintenance and calibration budget Awareness of current safety legislation, PUWER, HASAW, COSHH, etcUpkeep and control of Equipment spares
