Amogy is a sustainable energy startup, working on a novel carbon-free energy system using ammonia as a renewable fuel. Amogy's innovative solution will enable the decarbonization of ground/sea/air transportations, accelerating our journey towards the Net Zero Economy.As a Product Certification Engineer, I work directly with the Product Development Team on the commercialization of Amogy's product. My role involves working with all the engineering and business teams to develop what regulations, standards, and certifications the product/company needs to achieve for a successful launch. Some of my responsibilities include but are not limited to (1) establishing Amogy's compliance plan in maritime, mobile, and stationary applications, (2) conducting and facilitating risk assessments (FMEA/FMECA, HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, etc.) according to relevant IEC and ISO standards, (3) help establish a Functional Safety Management System (FSMS) for Amogy, (4) assist with product specific certifications such as compliance with ASME BPVC Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2 in collaboration with the R&D teams, (5) act as a stakeholder for the Reliability, Safety, and Certification (RSC) team at Amogy throughout the development of Amogy's MVP.I also act as a liaison between certification and marine classification agencies (Intertek, UL, DNV, Lloyd's Register, ABS) and the Product Development team, helping everyone develop the product to the highest quality assurances to eventually achieve certifications in different ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEEE, SAE, etc. standards.

I have been a Teaching Assistant for Professor Ranga Dias for Introduction to Thermodynamics and Solids Lab, Professor Laura Slane for Statics, Professor Nam for Mechanical Systems, and Professor Shang for Fluids Lab. In Spring of 2020, I decided to run for Vice President of the Undergraduate Student Body at the University of Rochester with Justyna Gorka, my running mate. Ever since, we've been working with the university and students to not just accomplish our own visions, but to also ensure a safe COVID-free campus for all students, faculty, and staff. I have personally chosen to focus on issues related to equity, diversity, and inclusion, as well as different mental health initiatives around campus.

The Meridian Society is the campus tour guide program coordinated by the Office of Admissions at the University of Rochester. The role of a meridian is to provide excellent customer service that supports the mission of the Office of Admissions. This service is primarily performed through providing a comprehensive campus and engineering tour that highlight the personal experience of a University of Rochester student. Other opportunities of advancement include becoming a Recruitment & Training Leader, Overnight Hosting Coordinator, and Senior Interviewer.

For the past 3 years, I have been working with TriForce, a computational group strengthening the science base in support of several communities' efforts by developing and providing access to our continually validated code. TriForce is a C++ framework for open-source massively-parallel 3D particle-based hybrid fluid-kinetic multiphysics simulationsThrough TriForce, I studied Direct-Drive Inertial Confinement Fusion, Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics, and Ray Tracing Methods to design an algorithm that traces the traveling points and geometrically constructs a Delaunay Triangulation Mesh in 3-D. More recently, I am developing a code that runs shock tests, magnetohydrodynamics, and radiation transport problems using a quiet direct simulation (QDS) second-order scheme.
