Currently a senior partner at Jones Walker LLP, I have been involved in legal, consulting, government and public relations activities for more than 25 years both within the U.S. and in foreign markets. In addition to helping both solve problems and create opportunities for my clients, I enjoy working with businesses, communities and government in building coalitions and networks that create and support opportunities for economic development, whether local, regional or international.I currently serve as a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Louisiana District Export Council, as Moderator for the Greater New Orleans Barge Fleeting Association River and Marine Industry Seminar, Ex-Oficio Chairman of the Greater New Orleans Harbor Safety Council and as the General Counsel for the Mississippi Valley Trade and Transport Council where I previously served as a member of the Board and Executive Committee. I also serve on various committees of the American Association of Importers and Exporters and in the past was a member of the Industry Trade Advisory Committee 14, appointed by the U.S. Trade Representative and Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
