I completed my economics degree in Basel in 1996 having specialized in development economics and international economics. I later on accumulated expertise in corporate finance in the pharmaceutical industry beginning my career in 1997 as a trainee at Novartis in Argentina. My roles included CFO of the Consumer Health Division, where I was responsible for the financial management of subsidiaries in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. My final position was as Head of Business Planning and Analysis in the company’s pharmaceutical sector and as Member of the Executive Committee of Novartis Argentina. I have worked independently since 2003 and helped to build up Hoffmann & Partner in 2012.Between 2005 and 2008 I attended the master’s programs in international politics at the Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires and in agribusiness at the School of Agriculture at the University of Buenos Aires.
